Press GO then scroll to ALERT SIGNAL. Press go and see if it has been switched off.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Opman&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item><item><title>Beocom 6000 mk II - no contact with base</title><link>https://archivedforum.beoworld.org:443/forums/thread/81579.aspx</link><pubDate>Wed, 23 Jan 2008 05:56:08 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">41a2a90c-3a1e-4bd3-b144-3883695a7f38:81579</guid><dc:creator>Crispin</dc:creator><slash:comments>0</slash:comments><comments>https://archivedforum.beoworld.org:443/forums/thread/81579.aspx</comments><wfw:commentRss>https://archivedforum.beoworld.org:443/forums/commentrss.aspx?SectionID=13&amp;PostID=81579</wfw:commentRss><description>&lt;p&gt;I have recently purchased a&amp;nbsp;Beocom MK II handset, charger&amp;nbsp;and beoline base station (on ebay).&amp;nbsp; It&amp;nbsp;appears to be&amp;nbsp;quite new but I&amp;nbsp;am having a problem with the handset in that it keeps losing the connection with the base unit: normally when I try to pick up an incoming call.&amp;nbsp; The handset rings, but when I try to pick up the call, the alert message&amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;no contact with base&amp;quot; comes on screen.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;An apparently related issue is that the handset doesn&amp;#39;t always record missed calls in the caller id list and the light on the&amp;nbsp;back of the&amp;nbsp;handset&amp;nbsp;does not flash to show that a call has been missed.&amp;nbsp; Again, when I have noticed this happen, the phone has rung, I have not answered, but when the caller hangs up, there is no record of the call as far as the handset is concerned (even though it did ring).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have seen in other posts on this site that this sort of behaviour was a problem with some Beocom 6000 MK I handsets which could be fixed with a software update.&amp;nbsp; Does anyone know what could be causing this issue with the MK II phone and what can be done about it?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Any help gratefully received!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Crispin &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
