Thanks for that chaps. It's as I thought.

The Avant I have at the moment doesn't have speaker sockets. But just earlier today I purchased a 32" Avant with all necessary holes and look forward to linking everything together and spending the next 4 months trying to explain to the girlfriend how to watch eastenders without turning on the radio!

You're right about the surround sound, but the rest will be easy. You'll need a length om MasterLink cable to connect the Overture to the Avant. Attach the BeoLab 6000's to the Avant (don't worry, the sockets'll be there), put the Avant in V. Opt 2, and the Overture in A.Opt 1.

I confess that I am really only fully familiar with the US products, and all of our Avants have the Surround module installed. But I have an MX as well, and the set-up described ought to work just fine.

Hi All,

I have coming a pair of BL6000s, and an ouverture. Due to ebay shenanigans I won't be getting the BV3-32 I was hoping for (still looking, if anyone has one). This means I am stuck with my current avant, which doesn't have a surround sound module.

This will be my first linked system (woohoo!) and I'm hoping there is some way that I can use the ouverture to get sound from the tv to the speakers? Logic tells me this won't be possible, as without a surround sound module there can surely be no surround sound. The versatility and ingenuity of B&O (and Beonians) never fails to amaze me, so I thought I'd double check incase there was a secret way!
