I'd love a BV9, but they are the price of a new family car.

I'd like to buy a 50 or 52-inch panel, preferably with high-def digital built-in tuner.

Should I go plasma or LCD? Should I look at 100Hz panels?

I'm thinking of Sony Bravia, Panasonic or Sharp AQUOS D64 types.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Firstly, just because your Sharp only has DVI does not mean that it wont support HDCP- The connetion on the BS3 to BV4 is via DVI!

Clearly though there is a compatablity issue with your sharp.

LCD panels just wont do it with the BS3 im afraid- you can get some that will work but not very well and if you watch a lot of SD material the results will not be that good. If you want to stick with LCD Sharp is the best of the makes you mentioned.

For plasma you need the panasonic P9/P10 commercial panels- these have no tuner.

Which is the best panel to buy for a BS3?

Guys, I'm looking to upgrade the Sharp AQUOS I have hanging off a BS3, because it isn't HDCP-compliant (only sports a DVI connection).
