I had to look for Mark' posts in his personal info tab. After selecting the second post I was able to get through to this post.

For Mark:

I too have tried to hook up an Aux connector to my MX4002. As mentioned here before it's not possible to get sound out of the MX4002 speakers. But I have had sound comming out of the speakers. Because I didn't want to make use of this function I disconnected the cable. I'm sorry, but can't remember how I did it make it happen. You have to take my word for it. During testing I have tried a lot of BEO4 settings. One of the settings made it possible to listen to audio on my MX4002.

Re: Audio Aux Link on rear of MX4002

For anyone else wanting to know the answer to this:-

MX4002
Audio Aux Link - unfortunately, the cable will not operate with this
connection as it is intended for use with the audio systems only
(BS9000 to Mac will work perfectly.) Generally the Audio Aux Link
connection is intended for use when combining a B&O TV with an
audio system AV integration. This connection contains the signals for
control of the equipment in addition to the audio input and output from
the systems.

Cheers

Mark.

Re: Audio Aux Link on rear of MX4002

Don't you have to press AV then A.aux?

Craig

Re: Audio Aux Link on rear of MX4002

Anyone?

Audio Aux Link on rear of MX4002

Hi,

On the rear of my MX4002 i have a 7pin socket named Audio Aux Link (not shown in manual).
