As the BS3 doesn&#39;t support HDMI 1.3, does this mean we&#39;re limited to watching 8-bit images on our BV9, BV7 and other BS3-based TVs?</p><p>If so, then the B&amp;O press release stating that the BV7-40 MKIII is capable of 16-bit pictures (1 billion colours) is questionable, as how would get the picture displayed in 16-bit colour?<br /></p><p>Is the specification software-based, which means the BS3 could be upgraded, through software, to support HDMI 1.3, in the near future?</p><p>Chris. <br /></p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
