Thanks for advise do you think i could use the left and right input for pc sound, and programe the beo 5 to send commands radio, cd ect to beosound 4 and pc and picture mute to the beovision 6?

Great. Thanks for taking the trouble to write.

I finally managed to track down someone at B&O (customer service is closed over the weekends!) and they said that there must have been a power cut overnight. After a power cut, apparently, you get the "Wait" message for around 3 hours, after which you need your PIN code (distinct from the child protection PIN code explained in the manual) to be able to use the screen again. Amazingly, none of this is made clear in the handbook. Anyway, it's all up and running again and looks excellent.

You can use the AUX OUT on BS4 to one of the AV inputs on BV6 then use P.MUTE to turn off the screen

Can anyone please advise if it is possible to use the speaker on my Beovision 6 for sound from a beosound 4 in the same room without using masterlink as i have the Beosound 4 in option 5 so it is not my main music source over the link system this is my 9000 downstairs. I want to be able to just use the Beosound 4 as a local radio ect to this room only with no other speakers at this stage.
