Once joined, you can go the link above - it is in the Downloads section and under telephones. They don't have many manuals - mainly current models and only user manuals, but they do have the Beotalk 1200 .

Official site? Do you mean the B&O site? I've joined as a bronze member but there are no manuals available unless I join as a silver or gold member?

Join the official site today - it is free and the manual is available for download.

By the way, this is probably the most complicated B&O product I can think of! I need the manual to operate any of the extra features!

The display should come on . The beotalk 1200 is incredibly complex and you need a manual. To get it here you will need to join as a silver or gold member but you can get it from the official B&O site I think - You need to register there and then go to http://www.bang-olufsen.com/page.asp?ID=119&cat=Telephones&prodid=134&typeid=1 .

Help - Beo Talk 1200

Greetings! I am new to B & O and have purchased 2 BeoCom 6000 phones (very nice) and a Beo talk 1200. The answering machine is the problem - as it's 2nd hand it came wihtout manuals but with many wires and connections. When I plug in the transformer there are no lights, nothing happens on the 1200. Should I assume the transformer is the problem or is there some secret way of turning the machine on, unknown to those new to B&O? All help gratefully received.
