I &amp;quot;solved&amp;quot; the problem but do not really understand how - did it under the influence of red wine.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As I recall there seem to be two phases. Firstly I pressed &amp;quot;sound&amp;quot; &amp;quot;0&amp;quot; &amp;quot;store&amp;quot; (I think) on the 3000. This brought all the buttons back into use but did not help with the remote. Thought that somehow the options might have changed but as it does not respond to the Beo 4 am not sure what to try next. The Beo 4 is working fine with everything else.
