The suspension on this will have deteriorated over the years leaving it prone to failure.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Easily the best bet is to buy a new item from soundsmith &lt;a href="http://www.sound-smith.com/cartridges/index.html#classic"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;any of the MMC20** range will fit your beocenter. This company are the official licensed manufacturers of all B&amp;amp;O cartridges since they stopped making their own. Prices start quite low (less than a retip) with the MMC20E and go all the way up to the MMC20CL. They are hand built and&amp;nbsp;fully warranted for 12 months.
