Thanks. I've set the Avant up as a Master now, and unplugged the Link from the 9000. Not the best solution, but works.

Welcome to Beoworld. You have a very similar system to me! The problem you have with this set up is that the AV9000 can only be a master and not a slave. No doubt the Avant is set up as a slave. There is not an easy answer to this. I have the AV9000 set up as a non linked set.

It is only the AV9000 that has this restriction - probably no-one thought at the time that anyone would want a £10,000 set up to be a secondary set!

Greetings, from what I think is my first post. Sorry if the following has been answered many times elsewhere, or in a FAQ, that I can't find but...

In our house we acquired the existing Link room setup and are about to expand. Currently, in the 'main' room there is a BeoVision Avant 32 VCR serving the speakers with a Link to an Overture. In a second room there is a BeoVision AV9000 TV serving a couple of BeoLab 1 speakers, and then there are 5 BeoLink 3500s around the house. When I select TV on the link room 3500s I control the AV9000 (get the TV, SAT, siganls from that). How do I set the Avant 32 to be the master for the link room? I believe it's a combination of config control on the Beo4, but can't remember...

In the near future, I will be adding a BeoSystem 3 and then will want this to be the master, along with a 9000 CD system.
