I do think the white version looks better though, and the miniature frequency scale in the front would be helpful. I will certainly buy a suitable Beogram to go with it if I ever come across one that isn&amp;#39;t too far away or expensive.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I still can&amp;#39;t decide whether the BM1000 is really handsome or butt-ugly :-)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;What&amp;#39;s really striking in these old systems is the quality of the woodwork. &lt;p&gt;The older systems are still wonderful. I've had the pleasure of listening to a BeoMaster 900 and BeoVox 500s recently (sadly not 600s), and there's something very 'fun' about listening on these older systems. It's kinda like saying 'the sound doesn't matter, only the music'.
