The show was filmed intentionally with an unsteady camera and with the color slightly off to achieve a certain look and effect. The Avant seems to try to "correct" these aspects and gets a bit confused. Has anyone else noticed this?

Re: Avant RF 100hz vs 50hz

It does, it looks incredibly natural and deep. You get used to it, don't worry. The only thing i don't like about the picture is the slight tizzing around strong colours...

Re: Avant RF 100hz vs 50hz

This is due to the 100 Hz technology (maybe motion compensation or digital filters as well).

In the beginning (for about a week or two) you will notice it, afterwards you don't. It is a matter of personal taste, but to me it looks more "natural".

We had the same issue with our BV 3-32. Guests mention it and this is the only time we are reminded of this issue.

Ralf

Avant RF 100hz vs 50hz

Hi,

Two weeks ago i buyed a 'new' avant RF 28" VCR. This 100hz beovision is standing right next to the old 50hz avant. The picture of the new avant is very excellent and very sharp. But, the picture often looks unnatural. The best way to describe this is that it looks like a soap. Outside snenes are look like they are come from an inside studio... They are too nice and there is something wrong with the depth of the picture. I thing this is caused by the 100hx picture processing. Does anyone has similar experience with 100hz beovisions? Is it possoble to change this effect in the service menu?

René.
