My external amplifier has built-in radio and sound present in all connected speakers...I haven't tried connecting another source to see if it works...I might do that after choosing Option 1! Fingers crossed....

Have to confess that I don't know why this isn't working - I would have thought the Line Out would work no matter what the Option setting was. Are you sure the external amplifier is working? Have you tried another line source?

I would guess so. The reason that you have Option 0 is so that you don't have two active IR eyes in one room. Option 0 turns the one off on the BC2 and it communicates via SCART. You get double commands with two active.

I haven't tried it yet...so I assume my set-up is currently set to Audio option O since the speakers are connected to the Beosystem 3 (+ link room speakers and TV)? Just want to check in case changing to Option 1 doesn't fix the problem and I need to go back to the existing config. Thanks!

With the Beo4, have the system in Stand by, then press LIST and the red dot at the same time. The screen will probably read ADD?

Using the up key, press till OPTION? is seen. Press GO. You will then see V.OPT flashing.Press the up key again and you will see A.OPT . Press 1 and then GO. The BC2 should flash its LED when you do that. Then see if it works!

This is really puzzling me and my dealer because when it was installed, we tried it and works so connection wise nothing have changed apart from maybe system configuration since there was a problem with our link TV not receiving any video....

I don't know how to change to Audio option 1...what does option 1 mean?

I really don't see why Option settings should change this but try! Set it to Audio option 1 - do you know how to do that?

Yes I'm sure it's plugged to Aux Out since the Aux in is connected to the Ipod. Would it have anything to do with the 'Option' that the system is set as? or should it be connected to the BS3 since it seems to turn on even if I'm just playing CD on the BC2?

The Aux out is just a line out so should just work. You have plugged it into the Aux out and not the Aux in? (Sorry for the suggestion!)

My system comprise of BC2 connected to BS3.

On the BC2, the Aux Out is connected to external non-B&O outdoor speakers via an amplifier. I remember in the past, all I have to do was press e.g. 'CD' on Beo 4 and turn on the amplifier where the cable from Aux Out of the BC 2 is connected to and then there will be sound from the outdoor speakers.

However, I haven't done that for a while so I tried that today and no sound came out!!! Sound came out thru the B&O speakers connected to the BS3 but not the outdoor speakers! Am I forgetting something here? I'm sure the outdoor speakers work because I connected them to an external CD source and it works. Am I suppose to press something so that sound will come via the Aux Out from BC2 to the amplifier???

Please HELP!!!
