I am wondering if I use a MCL2P (1987) to connect another wireless unit (receiver) with an IR eye connected to the wireless unit (I don&#39;t think the MCL2P has an IR eye socket) to another bedroom if it will work. Will this amp allow me to volume control a set of passive non-B&amp;O speakers? I have an opportunity of getting this amp but don&#39;t know if it is the correct unit to achieve what I am trying to do.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Any advice would be greatly appreciated.&nbsp;</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
