I am swapping the MCL/ML coverter for another unit and hope that will solve the problem. The Powerlink cable is Mark II as I purchased at the same time as the converter and I has powered everything down to re-set but this did not help. I checked all the cabling and made sure the left and right cables were correctIy placed. I am told by B & O it should work out of the box so will try replacement with all your suggestions in mind. Thanks and happy Xmas from Downunder.

Mark

Re: HELP! I recently purchased an ML/MCL converter (new from B & O) to go with my Beosystem 2300 to my ML link system which is powering 2 pairs of passive speakers. My Beocentre 9000 was previously my main system and ran the ML fine. I have installed the Converter and connected via Powerlink and connected the ML speaker cables but cannot get the speakers in the link rooms to work. The ML eye red light does not remain on as it does when connected to the BC9000. I have checked all cabling everything seems to be fine. When I try to operate the ML from the link room it does seem to receive the signal (there is a clicking sound) but it does not fire up the speakers. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Mark
