If it was second-hand then it probably is and that does have a known issue with the darkness you describe. Don&amp;#39;t think there&amp;#39;s much you can do about it but I am sure owners of this particular set can advise better. I&amp;nbsp;have heard&amp;nbsp;you can buy modules for it for HD so this might make a difference? It is possible to turn up the back light though this reduces the life expectancy. This has to be done through the service menu so will be something to ask the dealer about. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I would suggest a hard reset will cure the Sky problem! I find that the picture quality on the 7-32 is dark and you cannot make out the detail in dark scenes unlike previous TV.
