The new update adds &quot;Apple Remote&quot; as an option under &quot;External Sources.&quot; There is no fast-scrolling. Otherwise, the control via Beo4 is excellent. While B&amp;O has advised that the &quot;Apple Remote&quot; option is intended only for controlling the Apple TV via 480p or 1080i component input, I&#39;ve found that it will also provide excellent control of front row on a mac mini connected to the Beosystem 1. The Beosystem 1 first looks for a video signal over the component input. If no such signal is found, it will display the s-video or composite signal.</p><p>&nbsp;4.7j also provides control of Sony, Samsung and Panasonic Blu-Ray players and Toshiba HD DVD players.&nbsp;For most of these devices, B&amp;O provides the clever solution of using the Beo4 arrow buttons for fast-forward, rewind, chapter up, and chapter down by pushing the green button first to put the Beo4 into &quot;Transport Mode&quot; or pushing the red button to put the Beo4 into &quot;Menu&quot; mode to navigate the BD/HD DVD menus with the arrow buttons.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
