Reading your query string, I just want to refresh a couple of thoughts:

1. You have an IR cable connected from the BV7's control output to the 'eye' of the Apple TV's IR pickup. This cable either covers the Apple TV's 'eye', or almost does so (to allow it to work with an Apple remote too).

2. You have added the 'Apple TV' selection in your STB list to one of the choices in your system, such as 'PC' or 'VMEM' and selected the choice to use the Apple TV.

3. You have checked the Apple TV works fine with its own remote when plugged into the BV7. You haven't mentioned this in the string. I use 720p for the resolution.

Good luck!!

Re: BeoVision 7-40 MKIII and Apple TV

thanks but I tried it already, the remote is not paired.

While using the ApplTV STB software and Beo4: If you press menu on the Beo4 do you get a menu list on the left hand side of the screen? Is it in the correct plug socket on the BeoVision 7 Mkiii? I know it probably is but just to make sure. Otherwise there should be no reason for it not to work. I assume you get the picture and sound fine. Last resorts try switching the BeoVision 7 off from the mains for 5 mins, sometimes this helps, dont know why.

Re: BeoVision 7-40 MKIII and Apple TV

of course, the ir cable is working if I use the BeO4.
