Sounds as though you have Dolby then! On the label though there should be a section with ACC and some letters after it. Mine has STB DS PIP on it. This means STB controller, Dolby Surround and Picture in Picture modules are fitted. I actually have a DTS module as well but this is on another sticker as it was added later.

Yours may have either DS or more likely AC3

Hi:

It has one masterlink and six dins on the back. Does that help? It also has a (c) relating to Dolby on the silver s/n sticker.

Probably - but check the label at the back - it will tell you! What connections do you have? How many speaker outlets? It produces Pro-Logic in the earlier versions. The last ones can produce DTS.

When I turn my avant on a Dolby symbol appears in the LCD panel. Does this mean I have the board fitted?

What does this mean? Does it output a prologic signal or will it allow processing via an external amp? Would this help me to determine the age of the system also?
