Perfectly possible to do it yourself I suppose. Never felt the need myself but it is essentially a mirrored glass disc with black strips on it. The spindle may need to be longer for the clamp. I have a memory of seeing an optional glass turntable platter offered as an accessory for this turntable and it had a weight to hold the record flat on the platter to enhance the sound. Does anyone have any information on this product? Was it a B and O product? Is it worth trying to track one down if it does exist?

Thanks
