google for irfanview (freeware), don't forget to rename your pics - e.g. 0001.jpg to 0001_small.jpg - to keep your hi resolution pics....

You rescale you photos to 800X600

Thanks. How do I go about this? The only thing is that when I played a photo CD through DVD1, the photos were perfect. How come?

In short, photos have to be rescaled to 640x480 or 768x576 pixels because the downscaling algorithm used in DVD players is poor. The drive of the Mkii uses even a poorer algorithm (according to posts made here).

If I watch a CD of downloaded photos on this player, the results are very poor - the photos are pixellated. If I watch the same CD through my computer, the resukts arte perfect. Reasons?
