And when i had the two woofers at home for testing the final&amp;nbsp;decision&amp;nbsp;fell on the BL 2, because&amp;nbsp;the B&amp;amp;W&amp;nbsp;PV1 wasn&amp;#39;t so powerful and didn&amp;#39;t have the great dept in the bass as the BL 2..!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;And one great&amp;nbsp;thing to&amp;nbsp;find out&amp;nbsp;where the&amp;nbsp;subwoofer sounds best is to place it in your listening spot, ( in the&amp;nbsp;couch for example) and then crawl&amp;nbsp;around in the room to find out where the bass sounds best... I also tried the BL 2 in combination with the above, and could not get the sound, or the&amp;nbsp;look that I wanted. The BL 8000 seemed to be towering and playing over our heads when sitting in the Living Room. Back they all went.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I found what I wanted&amp;nbsp;using a pair of BL 4000, for sound and appearance. The speakers sit at ear level, canted back, and the bass tone is quite good. I experimented with the B&amp;amp;O metal stands, black speaker stands, and just standing alone. I settled on the black speaker stands, placed on either side of a Plasma screen, with the BS 3200 to&amp;nbsp;one side.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Considering the various costs, this was a savings, Nonetheless, my dealer was very helpful, and no doubt relieved at the final choice being decided on.
