ways to control BeoSystem3 from Crestron

I want to find a best way to control B&O systems from Crestron. There is a BeoSystem3 to play with, and some suggestions about control possibilities:

1.       Crestron IR port -> IR emitter -> B&O IR receiver -> IR IN (9 pin) BeoSystem3
[ordinal IR driver, “classical” way]
+             simple and safe
-              one-way, without feedbacks
-              complex command set, I don’t know all commands that Beo4 may play
-              IR Receiver must be placed correctly – under plasma, not in direct sunlight etc

2.       Crestron IR port -> IR emitter -> B&O IR receiver -> IR IN (3.5mm stereo jack) BeoSystem3
[the same as 1^st way]
+             2^nd IR receiver with IR emitter may be hidden from user’s eyes, sunlight and plasma rays
-              2^nd IR receiver needed

3.       Crestron IR port -> IR IN (3.5mm stereo jack) BeoSystem3
[special IR driver with stripped IR carrier and inverted signal needed, Crestron S=RING of 3.5mm stereo jack, Crestron G=SHIELD of jack]
+             direct control without 2 IR environment steps, no need any IR receivers
-              suppresses ordinal IR control from 1^st IR Receiver (when SIGNAL is 0, other IR receiver can’t work)
-              works with BeoVision 7-40 and BeoSystem 1-2, but not with my BeoSystem3! (I think, it is a reason to play with timings or to make a DB9 input – pin7=S, pin8=G)

4. Crestron IR port -> Inverter -> IR IN (3.5mm stereo jack) BeoSystem3

+ may be combined with IR receiver at IR IN (9 pin)

5.       Crestron RS232/RS485 -> CINEMA (9 pin) BeoSystem3
+             There are hints in service Guide - Pin 1         CTRL1 IN TTL, Pin 4 CTRL2 IN TTL
-              there is “(Not used - H.W. Ready)” here, so it look like R.I.P. for this idea
-              there is nothing about protocol in WWW
[I think, the only possibility of this port is to check if TV is on or off]

6.       Crestron RS232/RS485 -> TTL (3.5mm stereo jack) BeoSystem3
+             Pin 2 Inner: TX (output at BtB), Pin 3 Outer: RX (input at BtB) looks attractive
-              there is nothing about this protocol at WWW
-              I’m not sure about full range of possibilities: can a receptionist fully control client’s B&O from the reception bar or not

7. Crestron RS232/RS485 -> RS232 (3.5mm stereo jack) BeoSystem3
[looks the same as TTL, but may be preferable for Creston]

8.       Crestron RS232/RS485 -> ML (pin 1, 2 and Ground) BeoSystem3
[pin1=data-, pin2=data+ - looks like RS485]
+             this way is used by Crestron CG-BO1 gadget, so it must work
-              there is no protocol at WWW, but it can be quite close to protocol Crestron<->CG-BO1
-              Crestron module is far from complete ML command set, it annoys my perfectionism

9. Crestron RS232/RS485 -> ML (pin 9, 10 and Ground) BeoSystem3
[these pins are used in Flash Programming mode]
- Flash programming commonly far from control

10.    Crestron CG-BO1 -> ML BeoSystem3
[Magical Crestron international gadget CG-BO1. Connected to ML (pins 1, 2, ground – bidirectional. It can control ML Master device and all its sources), PL (pins 6, 7 – only take status from this PL), IR receiver (3 pins – receiving IR from Beo4), and 2 IR emitters – modulated and not modulated]
+             is commonly what I want
-              there is no some useful commands like FORMAT, STAND etc
-              quite expensive, because of in Euro price
-              one module control only one zone
-              can’t control directly slave ML zones, only via IR IN (I think)

If somebody can help me with commenting these ways, command sets or serial parameters and protocols – please, share it here!
