From purely aesthetic perspective your planned setup is harmonised. I was struggling with the same question regarding centre speaker a year ago and ended to BL7.1. I still hate the looks, soundwise it is excellent.

But to your question: yes, you need a ML-cable and a lot of Powerlink cables (the number equals with the number of the speakers). At least BL3 and BL2 require shielded PL-cable. Connecting the cables is easy as the connections in the BS2 are clearly marked. After you have done this the fun starts wtih setting up and tuning your system. I strongly suggest upgrading to silver or gold because you are going to need the manuals for the BS2 in the process.

Home theatre again!!!

I now have for my proposed home theatre; Beosound 9000, 2 X Beolab 8000(front),2 X Beolab 3(rear), 1 X Beolab 4000(centre), Beolab 2(sub), Beosystem 2, panasonic plasma tv, dvd player and decoder box. Can someone please advice on the connections; what cables are needed and which cable goes where, etc?
