The BeoSystem 3 is so good I had to part with my BeoLab 4000 - and replace them with BeoLab 3&amp;#39;s - as surround speakers. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You will get a lifelike picture on high quality channels (even SD), and the sound stage is just breathtaking. But, again, $7,500 is a lot of money compared to the great system you already have... &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I would do it. The upgrade would cost me ~7500 USD out of pocket assuming I can sell the BV4 for $3500 and the Beosystem 1 for $1000. Does this sound like the right time to upgrade?
