If I tune further, the upper discriminator starts lighting as well. When it is real bright (brighter then the lower one), the audio&nbsp;is muted&nbsp;(stereo still on!). The&nbsp;lower discriminator lights up as bright as the &quot;on&quot; and &quot;Stereo&quot; do, but the upper one is much brighter. Can the lamp get too high voltage?</p><p>There are three buttons. &quot;mono&quot;, &quot;stereo&quot; and &quot;matrix&quot;. The AFC button should correct if tuned in close. The upper tunig indicator is about twice as bright as all the other lights of the unit. And I don&#39;t succed in tunig stereo without noise. Just had a look at the service manual section and only found the BM2000, which should be quite similar.
