I have talked to Humax servicecenter and they said to me that Humax CXHD-1000 dont send 5.1-digital sound over the HDMI. So I have to connect the SPDF-cable to get 5.1-sound. This is certainly the case for my Sky HD stb. I am very pleased with it. But I have som problem when connecting my new HD-stb Humax CXHD-1000 with the 7-40. The sound from the TV is just PCM-sound and not Dolby Digital sound. The STB shows that it sends digital-sound to the TV but the TV just recieve PCM-sound. I use a HDMI-cable. When I look at Discovery HD-channel, the channel send Dolby Digital sound.
