Although I'm no fan of comic sans rather than inflicting a set of mandated fonts on everyone, why not set your browser to only render in the fonts you prefer?

But surely that becomes more than a tad dictotorial!!

Personally, I find this a lot easier to read than Helvetica, although I must admit I'd like an 11pt version. I just find it interesting that we have Wingdings as an option... Hmmm, Papyrus would be nice.

Glad we all levelled off on this font.
Much easier on the eye than multiple fonts.

Yes, most if the Jensen-designed beoproducts use Helvetica. I think the change (to Frutiger?) was at the same time as they changed from brushed aluminium to polished aluminium, but I may be wrong. I think Helvetica was an excellent choice, btw.

Helvetica was first used by B&O on the BeoMaster 1200 or the BeoLab 5000 system I believe, it was a favourite of Jensen's but was dropped at the Beosystem 5000 for something different (but very similar).

This Jacob Jensen book is proving to have some useless, but detailed information!

Varies - the font on the Beolab/Beomaster 5000 seems to be Helvetica - I am sure Frede can tell us exactly what it is. I replaced the number on one of mine using Letraset Helvetica and it looked very good.

I think if you have to install the font then only you will be able to see it when you post as everyone else has to have the font installed aswell??

Frutiger 55. There is actually a BeoFrutiger, but the standard Frutiger will get you there.

Just checked though, it appears that Frutiger is not in the stander internet font-set, so you can't code for it when entering posts. I may be wrong.

Maybe B&O only should preinstall special music on all BeoSounds too, to avoid missuse of for example BeoLab 5.
So actually, in the name of freedom of speach I support Comic Sans (even if I rather stab a pen through my BL8000´s then using Comic Sans myself).

The White on black font that the official forum uses BLAGGS MY 'ED

After reading it for a few minutes, I have to run around shaking my head and grimacing to get my eyes to focus on anything.
