B&O designs injection pens etc. for a long time now. We've seen some, when we visited B&O in Struer in April/Mai this year.

It sure looks good and has intelligent timer, the insulin injection pen,
unfortunately it still uses needles....

Our injection pen is needlefree.
I will not go into detail or mention brand names,

Many patients don’t take their medication on time, or over-medicate because they don’t remember when they had some for the last time. This intelligent cap helps diabetic patients to take insulin at the right time by using a simple color code.

When attendees of the European Respiratory Society (ERS) meeting, held in Stockholm in September 2007, were presented with the Asmair® pMDI prototype inhaler from Bang & Olufsen Medicom, they gave the company "positive feedback," according to the latest press release by B&O. We have not seen this gadget, but for what this "positive feedback" is worth, we think the response was such due to the promises for the device to sport many interesting and helpful features, not found on any inhalers nowadays:

The device prevents undercounting - a single dose counter is designed to specifically avoid under-counting - helping patients understand their treatment regimes.
The device also helps prevent overcounting - helping patients remain in control of their dosage. With the counter monitoring exact dosing, the patient can now for the first time rely directly on the dose counter to see how much medication or dosage remains.
User-friendly Design
Another key feature is that there is 50% less force required to release a dose when compared with normal inhaler- easy-to-use design for the elderly and children.
Optional reusable cap
