I used to have a black beocom 5000 then sold it on ebay. I still have two beocom 6000. I agree in saying that the difference is huge. Apart from the sound quality and features this phone feels much better in your hand and it's fun to play with

I agree with the other members, the Beocom 6000 Mark II is as good as you can get. I would certainly consider it instead of the Beocom 5000 and there are Beocom 6000's on Ebay.

Beocom 5000 is the only B&O product I´ve ever got rid of.

When 6000 came I gave it back to my dealer. It didn´t work well and the sound quality was very bad.

So save your money for a 6000.

I would not go for a 5000, but save up my money for a 6000. The difference is HUGE.

Today I decided I would like a cordless phone. So I looked for a second hand Beocom 5000 (simple, affordable). I looked in Ebay USA, Canada, UK, and Germany. NOTHING! Not one listing, even in ended auctions.

So...where are all the Beocom 5000's? Are they such a coveted phone that owners are holding onto them?
