If the button is faulty which is quite common, then there is no other way to get to the menu other than getting the faulty button fixed.

Re: Upgrade of Beocom 6000 MKI ?

Hi Keith,

Do you know if there is any chance at all to access the menu when the "DOT" /INT button does not work?

Re: Upgrade of Beocom 6000 MKI ?

I disappointed to note that B&O told you that you could not upgrade your Mark I Beocom 6000 because it is not true, in fact B&O make a kit to do just that and I have upgraded dozens of them.

Click HERE to see other threads on the subject. If you upgrade your Mark I Beo 6000 to a Mark to with the kit it will still work on a Mark I charger. PM me if you want to upgrade your Mark I Beocom 6000

Upgrade of Beocom 6000 MKI ?

I currently have a Siemens DECT GAP Phone and a Beocom 6000 (MK 1) with a charging base. The system has worked great for a few years with the Beocom 6000 registered on the Siemens base - however the Siemens may be on its last legs.

I have googled around and stumbled upon this site and from researching it looks like I can't purchase the current Beoline 1 PSTN receiver to use as my MK1 base is incompatible. I called up B&O customer services who have confirmed this. I then asked if my handset can be upgraded and the answer was no.

Is there any other option open to me? Shall I just buy another Siemens phone and pair the Beocom 6000 with it?

Lastly is there any way to increase the ring volume on the handset? Its very quiet even on the loudest level!.
