The 9000 is not intended to play CDs&amp;nbsp;while the car is in motion, however &amp;quot;soundproof&amp;quot; was correct in guessing that the BeoSound 2 delivers the audio input on the move.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;The 9000 unit travels very well in motion, and has cushioning for the unit and specifically the glass to counter&amp;nbsp;motion&amp;nbsp;caused in transit. Though it is primarily a showpiece,&amp;nbsp;and despite seeming&amp;nbsp;quite eccentric, it was a remarkably successful installation and&amp;nbsp;the sound is of course&amp;nbsp;exceptional.&amp;nbsp;There are various other hidden functional aspects that make the system practicable,&amp;nbsp;but&amp;nbsp;the car has not been&amp;nbsp;permanently altered&amp;nbsp;to accomodate anything. The unit can also be plugged back into mains electricity&amp;nbsp;indoors in situe. The idea was simply&amp;nbsp;inspired by how well the&amp;nbsp;look of vehicle and stereo seem to complement each other, and an enthusiam for both!&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:xx-small;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:x-small;"&gt;...so for the record, the &lt;span style="font-size:x-small;color:#000000;"&gt;Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is &lt;em&gt;not&lt;/em&gt; the first gull-wing to incorporate Bang&amp;amp;Olufsen equipment....!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
