Thanks Jazz for your kind advise. However, it's the weekend (Sunday) so dealers are off I guess. At least I have something in hand when I visit them in the coming week. Some users report that their dealers are located at 300 Km from their place. In my case, I have to drive 125 Km to reach the showroom. For this reason, I use the phone in most of the time to inquire about the products, but using the telephone doesn't solve my problems. That's why I am using this forum to know more about the B&O products knowing that I am not a beginner with B&O as I do have a Beovision 4-50 + Beocenter 2 + 4 x Beolab 3 + Beolab 2 + Beolab 7-2+ Beolab 3500 (connected through master link).

Sometimes going to a dealer with a bit of knowledge can make the whole process less intimidating. It is a problem with B1 dealers - entering into the shop sends an immediate message that you wishing to buy some B&O. The old store in store shops had the advantage that one could surreptitiously admire the B&O! I know that is how I started! One often does not want to appear ignorant either so this type of forum can allow you to ask questions that you may think are too simple to ask a dealer. As Lee has said elsewhere on site, nothing is a silly question!

the above answer is correct, however, i'm continually surprised that the questions that are asked here can often be very easily answered by your dealer.

I'm not saying don't ask here, however if you are keen on buying anything then the dealers should be happy to answer your questions and the more questions you ask your dealer the better relationship you build with them and the better service you will get.

Hi,

A mono central speaker with ALT is buit in the BV9.

It might be based on BL 7.4.

So you will need other front speakers to get a stereo sound, and at least 2 rear-speakers to get surround sound.
