Dear friends,

ALL the problem solved by a service technician :)

So, we figured out (also thanks to Nobby for his help), that in my MX5500 TV only the 2.1 software was able to handle the same time the two way system, and the motorised stand.

The 2.2 has the ability to control the stand, but the TV lost the two way system, the below versions (fe.: 1.6) was not able to control the motorised stand, but has the ability to use the two way system.

The only thing that the 2.1 and above systems are not able to handle is the "normal" vs. "extended" sound option, it can be set in the version 1.6 only, and no way to change it later.

Thanks for the advice, but unfortunately nothing happens :(

One additional info: The tuner works, because it can scan for the channels, but there is no picture, and no teletext :(

Maybe the S-VHS mode is activated?

Shift-9 is a toggle function.

Dear all,

I've received the required 2.1s panel for my MX5500, and I intended to install it. It seems, that everything went ok, the panel is on the correct place, the TV start to work, BUT, there is a strange thing:

The On screen texts are working, the picture tuning options (Brightness and so on) are working, the sound is ok, BUT there is no picture on the TV :( So it means there is nothing just like when You press "Picture mute" even on TV, even on any scart connection... :(

Is there any idea on something I can do except to call the service technician? :)
