It does! I find it best to use mine via the dock connector - the volume seems better. The quality obviously depends on the compression you have chosen to rip at.

Thanks guys thats what i thought i needed.

Any thoughts or do u have a ipod going through a B&O system my local dealer says it should sound excelent ?

Buy a 6270541 and connect it to any of the inputs from the Avant e.g. VCR or V.Aux. Select "Generic" source in the menu and you are done. The cable is anywhere from $20-50US.

It plugs in behind the timer panel of the Avant (top right).

Just about to buy a Avant TV 2000 model been told i can connect a ipod to this anyone know where from cost how its done etc
