I threw one in a skip today, followed closely by a red 28" Curved Avant which had sat outside the office all summer. Very sad, but amusing as the LS was on a castor stand, and we're on a hill....

I recently paid £60 for an LX2800 in excellent condition which was probably slightly on the high side but it was fairly local to me and the remote was fairly new and in mint condition. You would struggle to get anything like that much if you don't have the remote. I paid £12.50 for my LX2502 in less good condition.

Unless you are struggling for space it would be far better to keep it for use in a back room/bedroom as it is still a great TV but won't fetch all that much.

The LX is now worth very little as it is large and old technology. Shame as it is a superb TV. Worth putting on eBay but don't expect a lot more than £50. The Beomaster 4500 is on the other hand desirable and should get £150 - condition is everything of course.
