I have just added a datalink cord from my North American MX5000 to my Beocenter 9000. I have placed one end to the Aux/Line of the MX, and the other to the Aux of the Beocenter.

O.K....I programmed the tv for "picture 1 store" because the two components are close.

From the MX5000, through my beolink 1000, I press the AV+whatever I want to call up from the Beocenter 9000. All is fine!

Now with everything off (stand by). When I aim the Beolink 1000 to the Beocenter 9000 and press AV+TV...nothing. So I try Link+TV. Now the Tv's standby light turns off (with a click)...but no sound from Beocenter or tv. If I press the standby on the Beolink 1000 and continue aiming it at the Beocenter 9000, the TV does switch to standby.

I read the Beocenter 9000 manual (I have a European manual). It tells me to press AUX+1 for TV, or AUX+5 for VCR. I key this in directly to the Beocenter and voila, it works. Now...I would like to be able to do this from the remote. I cannot find AUX on the remote. I'm sure that it must be an early version. So...how can I do this with the remote?

Any ideas?

Guy
