The ML is very flexible, every plug is identical on the whole network.

You can connect it in any way and it will work. You can also do any network shape, bus, star...

Also you can move the master from a room to another, plug it and it will still work.

No matter what type of distribution boxes you decide to use, all connections are in parallel meaning you can daisy-chain the connections from room to room or connect all ML cables at a single point or a mixture of both.

It does not matter what products are connected to an Masterlink Cable (Master/Slave) they all get connected in parallel.

So..(in the ML distribution box).. I can connect the master Audio in the Audio slot and then say 5 passives in the remaining 5 slots??????

Use any of the slots for your M-L cable connections.

They all work fine for our multi-room system.

Sal you are right, but i thought that the audio and master should be connected together and the ML cable should be split in the middle

The labels on the ports on the ML distribution box, apparently, are for aid only, and don't meal a thing regarding the kind of connection you're going to link to... I say apparently, because (maybe it was my setup), but the LINK 1, etc ports really acted like Links when I wanted to merely extend a ML cable's length in an ML experiment in my living room. Hopefully your results will vary.

Ok this is my setup

BS 3000 in audiolink

BV7 in videolink

This is important because I think this should be paralel

Then you can use the rest for link audio. If you want to setup another TV You need to run a coax as well from your master TV.

Just to be clear...the ML distribution box has the Audio IN and then 4 link slots...so...

I'd use 1 of those 4 to run upstairs to the AUDIO IN of the ML distribution box upstairs....

then.....i'd have 4 links available upstairs...yes??

Shouldn't be a problem and infinitely preferable to what your multiple ML junctions would otherwise look like. Wish more people used those five-way distribution boxes more!

Yes that is possible

So for instance:

Radio ------ TV (master) (between radio and TV split cable in the middle)

ML Juction downstairs ------ one cable from junctionbox downstairs to junctionbox upstairs

Hi,

I'm in the middle of the install now.......so a quick answer please.....sorry for the rush...

If i've got say 6 passives....can I run 1 ML distribution box for the downstairs....and then run 1 of the connections to a ML distribution box upstairs......??????
