Ok, here's the/my dilemma. I also like the BV8....but how do you connect a DVD2 or Beocenter 2 to the BV8, without masterlink? ie. how do you connect a B&O DVD player, digitally? DVD2 and Beocenter 2 do not have a HDMI output, so the only option is scart?

Also, does the DVD2 or Beocenter 2 upscale? Indeed, does the BV8 upscale from an incoming source?

So,

Here is the deal :

i think i'm ready for the "All Digital" system.

i'm ready for the digital music, the high def TV and the MediaCenter.

I sold my BS9000 + BL8000 (i know, i know !) and i'm ready to sold my BV3 + DVD1.

I love the new BV8 and the look of the HDR2/DVD2.

I also love the look and the sound of the BeoLab3 and i'm surely ready for the forthcoming BeoSound5 !

But, before leaving the "old world" of CD and CRT, i want to know if i can find in these new products the same B&O quality i love so much.

i know a BV8 can not match the image quality of the BV3 but i think with a good source (sattelite, DVD...) it could be really good.

And if i rip all my cd collection in a lossless format, it will be OK.

So, i started with the music world, can i continue with the image world ?
