Look where the hinges grip into the top cover and locate
the little gap at the extreme top of the plastic hinge pieces.
This is where you insert a tiny flat-bladed screwdriver and
gently lever the hinge parts outwards about 1 mm or so while
pulling the cover upwards.
Do one side at a time unless you have 4 hands.

Hello forum,

I got a Beogram CD 4500 which was changed to a Beogram CD 3500 by exchanging the flip cover - to match the Beomaster and Beocord 3500 on the wall.

How do I exchange the covers again? Just turn it on, open the cover via Load button, turn off and then pull it upward carefully using ... ???

Thanks for your help, I couldn't find a service manual in the manuals section.
