Provide consumers with a better image and sound.</p><p>2. Provide content owners with an ability to lock content to prevent inappropriate use.</p><p>Some claim that 1 is the bait to make 2 simpler. Here&#39;s the proud owner of a SONY Blu-Ray player struggling to play the Pirates of the Carribean Liars game.
