I found a possible workaround...</p><p>Most set top boxes have 2 scarts, so you can connect one to the TV and one to the EXT1 socket of the DVD2.</p><p>You can programme the DVD2 to record at a certain time from EXT1, and - separately- you can programme the set top box to tune to a channel at a certain time, using the set top box own scheduler.</p><p>The Good:</p><ul><li>It should work, and all with the Beo4</li></ul><p><br />The Bad</p><ul><li>it is not elegant, </li><li>it require the 2 clocks to be in sync, </li><li>it does not &quot;lock&quot; the channel on the set top box, like another recorder would do, </li><li>it will not allow recording of the DVB module in the Beovision.</li></ul><p><br />p.<br /></p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
