&lt;p&gt;Press shift, with your hand completely covering the IR transmitter at the end of the BeoLink, and press shift, then uncover your hand and press A.Tape. A.Tape 2 is still activated, even though the BeoMaster/Center didn't receive the SHIFT command.&lt;/p&gt;
