As I mentioned earlier Frank - I have used these.

The technique is exactly the same for all foam surrounds except you have far less tolerance when centering the coils (due to the small size which gives less "play" on the surrounds) and may require shimming in some cases. The smaller the driver = the more accuracy & patience required.

Thanks guys....i see that the other BnO speaker was done....has anyone done these on the Penta Midranges...(i know technique is technique)...i'm just wondering if it's been done by any here...

Yes,

I've used these exact ones and they are an excellent fit. The fit of the foams is of course important, but the correct fitting method is even more so.

There is an excellent ongoing thread in the workbench section which, up to present, is showing exactly the correct way of doing this.

Just found this on Ebay..... i've already paid for new midranges....but i'm going to keep my old ones and try to re-foam them....

Anybody tried this??
