Wow picture inserted succesfully

I removed my skirting board. B&Q sell a cable system with inserts for double or single sockets to which standards switches/front plates screw onto. Behind the base of the Beolab 8000 I fitted a single blank polished chrome plate which i drilled a hole in, the size of a powerlink plug with a rubber grommet inserted. Behind the TV is a double socket backplate. All my cables run through the trunking to a B&O cabinet where my SKY box etc. is

(p.s. the picture was taken just after I'd moved in. The walls have since been replastered)

The sizes quoted are in millimetres, so 16x16 or 3/4" X 3/4" would be just what you wanted. I looked on the Home Depot web site but I could not find any ducting whosoever, so I must assume they do not sell it on-line.

The way it works is you cut it to length, stick it on the flat surface like the skirting, put the cables in it and the lid snaps on, job done.

Its in shiny white PVC, so it matches in most cases.

Assuming your cable is running along the skirting to the BeoLab 4000's, then why not use stick-on minature box ducting. Here in the UK its available from almost all DIY stores. They look as below

Just trying to find out what people are using to dress the cables. In my living room, i have the black wires running along a white carpet from my speaker stands (for the BL4000s) and it just looks a bit messy. I've tried a couple of audio shops here in LA but one place had nothing and another had something more designed for the wall to accommodate a Plasma TV.

Any recs appreciated.
