He argues strongly that room acoustics can be modified using ordinary furniture and an interplay of soft and hard surfaces -- making it possible to achieve satisfactory listening conditions without turning a room into an obstacle course.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Lots of other articles on hifi and audio at his site. Linkwitz is a great believer in dipole speaker design, but his findings on room acoustics are relevant for other kinds, as well.
