Used to have the speakers into the TV, rather than the Beocenter socket unit, and have now switched. Undid all the cables, and reinforced the option settings on V-OPT and A-OPT.

Just got to get the N-Music link working now...

Thanks for the help

S

Re: Beocenter 2 not responding

Sounds like a masterlink glitch. Try a hard reset. Everything off at the mains for 5 minutes and then switch back on.

Re: Beocenter 2 not responding

Thanks Cozza

I don't think that's it. The remote is registering the changes, with the display showing "RADIO" and "CD" when those buttons are pressed. Also, when I press Radio on the BeoCenter, it still doesn't work.

CDs load and start playing when inserted without the help of the remote, but there is no sound. I'm left with thinking it could be a cable fault?

S

Re: Beocenter 2 not responding

Have you tried another remote? Oh and PC2 (on a mac). So far so good. After a power cut (we were away) I came back to find that the Beocenter 2 only recognised commands from the Beo4 for TV, Sat and DVD, but not radio, CD or N Music.

I have tried to reset the options manually, checked the cables, and to be honest, I'm completely stumped. If it was dead, I'd understand, but I can get the thing to play CDs (and the radio) in other rooms on the Beolab 2000s... but not in the main room connected to the telly.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Ta

Shan
