Hello, you can definitely also use MMC3000-4000-5000-6000 and SP15. Drop me a PM (start conversation with Søren Hammer, under my profile), I have a couple of spare cartridges.

I had no idea the cartridges could be so expensive! I will have to save up for a replacement as I am a student. I also need to find speakers. I think it will be a few months before I get to hear any music from this beautiful machine =[

You can replace it with any pickup in the MMC 20 -series. There was '20 S', '-E', '-EN' and '-CL'.

And (but i'm not sure about this) -I think you can also use the previous line of pickups, called MMC 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000.

You can buy new cartridges from Soundsmith in USA. And Axel in Germany (www.schallplattennadeln.de) can repair it.

Hello

I have just inheirited a Beocenter 2800. I am very new to all this and I am here to look for help. I have only used old Hackers before.

The cartridge has lost its needle at some point and I am wondering if I have to replace it with the MMC 20 S cartridge or can I replace it with another cartridge. If so, which ones?

Can the needle be replaced by itself without the need for a new cartridge?
