generally having several devices in a chain doing something to the 
picture is not a good idea. &lt;p&gt;i just noticed that my set top box has an option for dynamic range compression - options : max, average, off. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;the settop box is connected to my bv7-40 via hdmi.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;is something i should leave on, or will it interfere with bv7 signal processing ?&lt;/p&gt;
