And so the fun continues..

Just a day after the chassi swap the speaker started to act funny again!

It started to shut it self off, or just not respond to any remotecomand.

I've spoken to the B&O service and this time they want it in there shop( great fun when your apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator). B&O Denmark think the chassi I recived was faulty so I belive they are gonna send yet another one to be swaped.

Well then.

B&O service was just here with the servicecase and swaped the chassi.

The serviceguy didn't have a clue what was wrong since the speaker powered up and operated normal but without sound.

So "new" chassi in and the old goes back to B&O i Denmark.

No more mono for me, now im back in Stereo

I've spoken to B&O service center here in Stockholm/Sweden and it looks like it's going to be a chassiswap more or less..

Dont know what it does specifically, however you might get lucky. I also dont know if this will require a servicepin or anything else, maybe someone else can elaborate on this.

Tried that, even so long as the pincode system got activated.

When inputing the code there was no sound, usally there is a beep for every correct number but not this time, just silence.

So now there is a green light but no sound...

Hi all

Today something happend with my BL5, one of them stopped working?

It powers up and all, but it doesn't emit any sound, it's dead silent. Im runing SPDIF in from a Squeezebox so I have not tried the powerlink input just digital in.

When trying to calibrate the speakers it almost begins but shuts down before emmiting any sound, then it turns it self off and I get the flashing redlight?

So what could be wrong any ideas?, and to cut to the chase, how much is it going to cost me.....?
